Daydreaming about academia
by sofile
I think I just had a brilliant idea.
Public health in the postmodern world – to try to approach important aspects of our society without ignoring the undoutably postmodern nature of the space in which we live. An attempt to address problems in our world pragmatically in such a way that is not blind to the reality of our situation. A public health that is not Pruitt Igoe.
Is this stupid? Maybe. Maybe there is no room for overarching solutions in such a world. But maybe that’s the whole point! I don’t know where this is going, but it seems worthwhile to follow for a while. Like Foucault, possible games openings, with no claims to totality.
In the meantime
